Executive Leadership & Administration

Our Executive Leadership & Administration team provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, financial stewardship, and organizational support to ensure every WRC program has the resources and infrastructure needed to serve survivors effectively.

Ajia Meux-Jacobs, PhD, MSW

Interim Executive Director

Dr. Ajia Meux-Jacobs joined WRC in March 2024 as Interim Executive Director of the Women’s Resource Center where she provides strategic leadership for programs serving survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking throughout Cleveland County. Throughout her career, she has contributed to the advancement of victim services through roles with organizations including the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN), the DC Rape Crisis Center, and My Sister’s Place in Washington, D.C. Her leadership is grounded in trauma-informed practice, organizational development, and a commitment to building strong systems that empower survivors and strengthen communities. She holds a PhD and MA in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Oklahoma, an MSW from Howard University, and a BS in Criminology from California State University, Fresno where she minored in Women’s Studies.

Rape Crisis Center

The Rape Crisis Center provides confidential advocacy, forensic nursing services, hospital response, crisis intervention, and ongoing support for survivors of sexual assault. The team works closely with hospitals, law enforcement, and community partners to ensure survivors receive compassionate, survivor-centered care.

Shelter Services

Our Shelter Services team provides emergency shelter, safety planning, crisis intervention, advocacy, children’s services, and support for survivors and their families as they work toward safety and independence.

Community Services

Community Services extends WRC’s reach beyond our facilities by connecting survivors with advocacy, resources, protective order assistance, referrals, and community-based support throughout Cleveland County.

Counseling Services

Our licensed counseling team provides trauma-informed individual and group counseling for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and other traumatic experiences. Counseling services are available for both residential and non-residential clients and are designed to support long-term healing and recovery.
